SMA Announces Gates Millenium Scholar (click here for additional information)
Senior Yewhna Tefery has been awarded a good-through-graduation college scholarship through the Bill and Melinda Gates Millenium Scholars Program. The scholarship can be used to pursue a degree in any undergraduate college or university of her choice. She is one of 1000 graduates in 45 states and the District of Columbia to receive this award.
Yewhna is SMA's second Millenium Scholar in three years. Leslie Salas ' 08 presently attends the University of California, Berkeley.
